What materials do you use?

We work with two main families of metal, and each product page tells you which one you are getting.

Stainless steel is our everyday-tough base for many waterproof and flatback styles. It is designed for real life: gentle on skin for most wearers, and naturally resistant to rust and tarnish when finished as natural steel.

Brass with PVD plating (including platinum PVD and 14k gold PVD finishes) is what you will find on many of our soft-house everyday pieces, like Twin Gleam. The PVD layer helps protect the metal and keep the color looking composed for longer.

Will my jewelry tarnish?

Stainless steel in a natural steel finish is built to stay bright and is described on our waterproof pieces as tarnish-free for life under normal wear. Gold PVD finishes on stainless steel are water-resistant and stay beautiful with simple care; over a long time, any plated finish can show gentle wear if it is soaked often in saltwater, chlorine, or harsh chemicals.

Brass pieces with PVD plating are tarnish-resistant thanks to that protective finish. A soft wipe after wearing and dry storage go a long way toward keeping the gleam soft and even.

Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?

Yes. Our pieces are made to be hypoallergenic and skin-safe for everyday wear. Stainless steel and thoughtfully finished PVD styles are chosen with sensitive ears and skin in mind. If you have a known metal sensitivity, we still recommend reading the materials list on the product page and starting with a shorter wear test, just to be sure it feels right for you.

Is Coddle Heaven jewelry waterproof? Can I shower or swim in it?

It depends on the collection and finish, and the product page always has the clearest answer.

For our Waterproof Collection in stainless steel:

• Natural steel (silver): 100% waterproof. Shower, sleep, sweat, and swim with confidence.
• Gold PVD: water-resistant. Everyday splash, shower, and sweat are fine; for the longest-lasting finish, skip long soaks in saltwater, chlorine, or harsh chemicals.

Many brass + PVD everyday pieces are splash- and sweat-resistant rather than fully waterproof. They are made for real life, but we recommend removing them before long swims or heavy chemical exposure, and following the shared care tips below.

What are flatback earrings, and how do I wear them?

Flatbacks use a flat disc behind the ear instead of a traditional butterfly clasp, so they sit flush and feel secure for stacking, sleeping, and everyday motion. Many of our flatbacks are stainless steel waterproof styles with a comfortable post (often around 6mm, 20G / 0.8mm; exact measurements are on each product page).

Important: some flatback listings are sold as a single earring (one piece), so you can mix, match, and build your own stack. Others are sold as a pair. Check What's included on the product page before you check out.

How should I care for my jewelry?

We keep care simple and the same across styles, including stainless steel, so every piece feels easy to live with:

• Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
• Put jewelry on last and take it off first. Keep it away from perfume, sunscreen, and skincare products.
• Store in a dry place or the original box when not in use.
• For light cleaning, rinse briefly with water and dry immediately with a soft cloth.

That gentle rhythm is enough for most days. Your piece does not need complicated rituals. Just a little soft attention.

How do sizing and measurements work? What is included?

Every product page includes a Details & Measurement section with length, post size, gauge, or other measurements where they matter. Measurements are taken by hand, so a slight variance is normal. That is part of the handmade character of the piece.

What's included is listed clearly on each page. Bracelets and rings are usually one piece. Earrings may be a pair or a single, especially for flatbacks meant for ear stacks. If you are unsure, the product page (or a quick note to us) will sort it out.

Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

We ship from Hong Kong to local and international addresses. As a quick overview: Hong Kong orders usually move quickly via SF Express; international orders go out with tracking, and timing varies by region. Processing typically takes a few business days before your parcel leaves us.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We want you to love what arrives. You can return or exchange unused items within 30 days of receiving your order, in original packaging with tags and accessories included. Return shipping is normally the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong piece.

What does the 100-day basic warranty cover?

Every piece includes a 100-day basic warranty for manufacturing defects under normal wear. This is separate from the 30-day unused return or exchange window.

Can I pick up my order in Hong Kong? Where is the store?
